Officially, Kaye is classed as a clinical psychotherapist, but she dislikes labels, prefering to say she helps people who are suffering emotional pain. Known for her ability to get to the root cause of issues without making it a painful process, Kaye has been known to help fix marriage breakdowns too.
For nearly twenty years, Kaye has worked within business and military environments. The first decade was spent assisting CEOs of billion dollar companies, the media moguls and publishing giants. The past decade has seen her work closely with thousands of military men and women - aiding in the welfare of young recruits and senior ranks.
Military personnel come from all walks of life with a huge variety of views, abilities, skills and experiences. Kaye's job was to explore mental health issues and how she could help them through their suffering.
Working with these military and business people has given Kaye a unique approach. She listens to your issues, then draws upon her training and knowledge to get to the point, while using your language.
Kaye has found that helping you figure out the issues you are facing, quickly, helps you get on with your life easily. She uses well-tried and tested psychotherapy techniques and tools aimed at helping you to calm your emotions, ease your outlook and help you figure out what it is you want from life.
She regularly offers free and discounted fees because she genuinely wants to help.
Paper: 'Soldiers & Civvies: a comparative analysis of the emotional meaning in their work cultures'. This project aligned with the concepts of the Human Givens Therapy which is a global research organisation concerned with progressing the most effective forms of counselling and psychotherapy. Human Givens works holistically, with scientifically accepted methods, to find the missing emotional needs of clients and works at unearthing their skills and abilities to get the unmet needs met. It is closely tied to research in consciousness and the spiritual aspects of humanity as well as using techniques aligned with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Human Givens is a method that has proven to work quickly and unobtrusively helping people back to health. It is registered with IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) and is a registered charity. The College was established over twenty years ago by its founders, Joe Griffin and Ivan Tyrrell, both men are leaders in the psychological field, and were determined to unearth new methods that worked for the mind and emotions. My Diploma was secured through a number of in-person presentations and workshops held across the United Kingdom and after a two-week residential course I completed in North London.

The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) gives an overview which supports its effectiveness, while the Royal College of Psychiatrists gives a summary. With a remit to provide specialist teaching and training tailored for Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre OCTC comes under Oxford Health NHS Trust while working alongside Oxford University.
Emotional Freedom Techniques method has been used for over 40 years, and Kaye took her training with Gary Craig, founder of the EFT Institute.
