This therapy aims to heal your mind and emotions, so you can relax your body and release yourself from the turmoil you are experiencing from any number of challenges that stem from anxiety, such as; worry, grief, depression, trauma or relationship issues. 

Is anxiety at the core of it?

Anxiety lies at the heart of our emotions but the symptoms you experience may be just the tip of the iceberg. Take a quick look at the diagram here. You'll find Anxiety is at the centre of much of the emotional turmoil that people experience.  

Understanding anxiety is crucial. Once you do, you can begin to get to the root of the emotional turmoil you have. Learning new coping skills, through both conscious and subconscious learning, helps you overcome anxiety-related symptoms.

As a psychotherapist and coach, my role is to listen and give guidance on how to identify and master these emotional experiences.  Once you recognise the symptoms and learn the basic skills to tackle those symptoms, you can begin to get the life you want - free of anxiety.

Professional Standards Authority

The PSA is the UK body that regulates statutory healthcare bodies and also accredits registers of healthcare organisations which ensures high standards of safety in health and social care.

HGI

Human Givens Institute

The Human Givens Institute (HGI), is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) and is working together with organisations such as BACP, BCP, NCPS, UKCP and ACC, to create a Partnership of Psychological Bodies to improve standards in the profession. 

SCoPEd

Scope of Practice & Education

The SCoPEd framework is an initiative in which a number of organisations whose registers are accredited by the PSA. Working together, these organisations are creating a framework for the Scope of Practice and Education for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK.

NICE

National Institute for Health & Care Excellence

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence runs randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and has created a framework for 'real-world' evidence into their deliberations about what treatments work best. HGI, through their practice-based study Project-100, aligned with all of NICE's real-world evidence requirements.

THERAPY SERVICE 

The fees for a therapy session can range between £45 through to £800 (and then some!). That's quite a wide range, I know. Those fees are based on the therapist's qualifications, experience, skills and, of course, how well-known they are. However, because of the hardship that many are experiencing today, I've created a donation-based therapy service and I also invest my time in a few charities that give military personnel and first-responders free therapy. To help cover any short-fall, any sales of books, magazines, newsletters, online courses or workshops, helps me to keep going.
